install frostwire,gimpshop,audacious,gparted and frets on fire

:.frostwire,works
:.audacious,a cheap winamp wannabe, neat looking feel on the skins... thats it
:.gparted, wouldnt start though prompted with my admin password..
:.frets on fire, too slow, i think i need to install the proper drivers for my video card.geforce fx5500

opensuse11(gnome) was again installed. now on a P4(2.0ghz) pc,512 memory and with 256 mb video card. thanks for Ece nats for the great bargain.


some changes were
-mozilla wouldnt crash often. no need to download opera.
-fast switching and opening of apps..

thingking about:
-installing compiz



-add pidgin,xchat and gnome do to my favorites.
-tried to install videolan. failed, timed out
-update repositories.
-finally installed videolan. first there was no sound. set audio output to oss.solve.
